Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Fixture at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months since relocating so building work could begin.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside as per the current authorization. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel and new dressing rooms.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou on 7 November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from Uefa to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side in December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
