Kansas City Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Allegations Involving Player the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment Wednesday night stating they are aware of claims of abuse circulated in online accounts by a ex-partner of wide receiver the athlete and were in communication with the league office.

The team omitted the name of the player specifically in their statement and noted they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete directly, posted a series of photos on social media that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. No official complaints were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the alleged abuse is said to have occurred.
