The rising star has substantial online presence

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile cheerleaders when she begins her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa practically suggested to play and have fun," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to compete, have fun, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials commented that her participation exposes the sport to wider groups, especially with youth audiences.

The young star has millions of followers and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
